Helping LYRIC Celebrate 20 Years

At the 20th anniversary party for the Lavender Youth Recreation and Information Center in October, three outLoud interviewers recorded everything from the oral histories of 1970s civil rights activists to impromptu covers of the pop song "I Kissed A Girl."

2008 was the year that politics and radio joined together for outLoud. It was great interviewing people involved with politics so we could not only get the point of view of the normal people, but also the people in power.

Awesome Volunteers Make outLoud Pride a Huge Success

We had more than thirty volunteers at SF LGBT Pride. It was great, especially when the two outLoud Volunteer Supervisors, Thao and Diego, had the megaphone. The two days we volunteered were fun, hot, and rewarding. We earned over $4,000 from the whole thing!
