Fall 2009 Intergenerational Storytelling Project

in

We are excited to announce the upcoming outLoud radio Fall 2009 Intergenerational Storytelling Project PAID internship.

This unique nine-week program is a collaboration with LYRIC and New Leaf and brings together LGBTQ elders and youth to share stories, build community, learn job skills and create a radio piece to air on major public radio stations. Each year the participants give lots of positive feedback about the experience of creating radio and connecting with LGBTQ elders.

The internship will begin on Sat. Oct. 3 and will run each Saturday from 12-4.

DEADLINE EXTENDED! Applications are due SUNDAY Sept. 13th. You can get an application here.

Check out shows by LGBTQ youth and allies under the LISTEN tab to hear last year's ISP radio piece.
